Our stay at Velassaru was simply outstanding. Vicky (chef) and Salam (waiter) at the teppanyaki restaurant, and Aseel at the Sand restaurant made every meal unforgettable. Benito at breakfast delighted us daily with his amazing salmon bagels, a highlight for my wife. The two spa therapists (from the Philippines and Indonesia) also delivered incredible treatments. But the true standout was Mohammed, the Front Office Manager, whose attention to detail and constant dedication to enhancing the guest experience made our stay truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Velassaru Maldives was absolutely unforgettable! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The water sports were so much fun, and swimming with the sharks was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! A special shoutout to Rakesh and Savio, the barman — they truly made our holiday extra special with their warmth, energy, and incredible service. We can’t wait to come back!

A paradise found! This resort is a true gem, offering the perfect blend of luxury, natural beauty and impeccable service. We stayed in an overwater villa and it was an absolute dream with amazing views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the private deck with direct access to the water was the perfect place to unwind. The dining experience is second to none. All of their restaurants are worth your visit. Special thanks tou the amazing sous chef Wasantha Dewasurendra who went the extra mile to make us feel like home. Spa treatments were excellent and activities (we did kayaking, shark snorkeling). Lastly, words cant fully express how grateful we are to the amazing team working there, warmth, kindness and all of them went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Velassaru Maldives is the perfect mix of luxury and tranquility, just 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé. The beach is pristine, the water crystal clear, and the lush vegetation offers natural shade, making the warm climate feel even more comfortable. Our Renewal of Vows ceremony was beautifully arranged, creating a truly magical moment. A special thank you to Majorie, the Resort Manager, for ensuring everything was seamless and making us feel so well cared for. The food was excellent, the spa experience was incredible, and the overall atmosphere made for a perfect getaway. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return!
